For over 15 years Ted Gillespie has been working with and caring for dementia patients, residents and their families. His experience and studies has brought him to an awareness and better understanding about the disease and what he can do to help support the caree, the families and the family caregivers. Compassionate, caring and respectful, Ted brings with him a passion and commitment for creating an environment for caree's that is not only healthy but also dignified. Ted works with the caregivers of the family on stress, communication, resources and strategies for the future.  He suggest positive and effective care-giving techniques to use with ADLs, bathing and confusion, and much more.

For the past 4 years Ted's been the Santa and has given numerous art demonstrations to assisted living communities in the St Louis area.

He was also a US Veterans Administration Volunteer, going to veterans’ homes that are homebound that can use companionship and while giving the family caregiver a break.
